Let me tell you about my hometown.
There are a red fire hydrant in the middle of a forest and a bird perched on top of a tree branch. A small bird standing in the middle of a field. A surfboard laying on the sand near the ocean. A sunflower on the beach. A red leaf floating on a still pond.
I try to read the meaning of each symbol, but the signs are meaningless, empty symbols. The only thing that is interesting about them is that they’re made of something we don’t have here. I don’t know what they are made of, but there is something strange and out of place about them, almost as if the author is trying to create a contrast between his creations and the surroundings.
There are a train that has stopped at a train station . A group of people sitting on the train . A view of a train from the window. A man walks down the aisle of a train.
A line of people. Riders on a train heading to Orpheum.
A train is stopped at a station . A man on a bus. A couple sitting on a train. A train arrives at a station. A group of people on a bus .
There is a view of an airplane wing from the airport and a view of a mountain range.
It was also my birthday that day. That evening, some family members came over and we had dinner. Unfortunately, I was too sick to actually eat much. My mother's birthday was Wednesday, December 30. All that left for me to do was enjoy my last weekend here, so I could not be happier.
There is a traffic light and a red fire hydrant sitting on the side of a road.
Six weeks of almost - not - working washing machines in houses and hotels, away from their owners and their families. A new computer with a virus. A planned march that was in fact a revolution. And an entire nation dumbfounded and unsure what to do.
There is a crowd of people walking down a city street filled with lots of traffic. A wooden bench sitting on top of a sidewalk and a woman standing in front of a car, while a man is flying through the air while riding a skateboard. Just the motion, I like that it's dynamic.
The people enjoying the thing most is the young worker who invented it. On a busy day, anywhere between 25 and 50 people are at Rollcar to catch a ride. Each car can accommodate four people at a time.
"They come and take a ride to their destination of choice. Or they find a space"
There is a large building with a clock on the top and a sign that is on the side of it.
I can't read it. I don't know if that means I'm not supposed to read it or that the clock on the clock on the side of the building means nothing.
I've learned a lot from those people I've talked to today. I know now that angels help us and make our lives easier, but it's not always what you think.
The joke is, when someone goes through an Angel house, the angels move the light at the graveyard away from their door so that other people can't see.
It's just how it is. That makes me happy.
There is a large room with a bed with a suit case lying on it and a table. A mirror on the wall.
“Ah, you can change first,” a woman’s voice said, it was pretty deep. It was dim but I could see the silhouette of a lady behind the door.
There is a large chocolate cake and a person cutting it with a knife. A plate of food and a glass of wine. A party where you get to share your feelings and have a fun time.
A woman folding her clothes, clothes drying on the clothes line. An ant doing what it does best, killing, or foraging. A car traveling down a country road.
When it came to the VoiceOver, I wanted to ask AI to speak for me. I fed it 15 minutes of speech, reading a long bed-time story to my computer so it could take my voice apart and build it back again to sound like me, but never be me. It asked if I wanted to read for three hours more. I said no.
After getting the text, I wanted to ask AI to draw for me. I could circle out objects to animate and to finally construct the world back. I wanted some (like birds) to be merged by AI with the initial objects on the photos, all landscapes were also generated. Though, in the video you can see some pictures of branches, sunflower, surfboard etc, because the goal was to emerge a viewer into this bizarre GPT2 generated world and underline the weary absurdity of it and without my curation it would be illegible.
