carpet’ has been inspired by the sleepless night I had back in my Russian childhood, laying in the darkness of
cold nights, staring at the carpets that where omnipresent in Soviet apartments covering walls. They all
looked the same yet I have never saw two identical patterns.
I would imagine battlefields and mysterious forests, beasts and love stories on these carpets and after some time
it would seem like the carpet is playing along and moving with my thoughts.
As I struggled to fall asleep during first months of COVID quarantine, cut away from all the carpets and
adventures, I decided to create my own digital insomnia carpet for all the nocturnal wonderers of the web out there. It can only be
visible at night, try to catch it.
